After many rumors that saw him away from Rubin Kazan, as he had concrete offers for him from teams like Zenit, Besiktas or Lens in France, in the end Daku has decided to stay at Rubin Kazan, has accepted the renewal, but also including a very specific clause that allows him to leave if he receives an important offer from a European club.
Russian media have revealed details of the new contract that Daku is expected to sign. In order to keep the red and black “bomber” in the team, Rubin Kazan offered him a contract with significantly improved financial terms. His salary will be around 2.2 million euros per year. In addition, 1.6 million euros are due as an annual signing bonus, plus bonuses for individual performances and team victories. In total, Daku will be able to earn around 13.5 million euros for a four-year contract. This figure makes him one of the club’s highest-paid players.
The media has also revealed the clause included in this contract, with the club that granted the player his wish. After 6 months, Daku has the right to leave Rubin if a satisfactory offer comes to his address from a European club, which leaves the door open for him for a possible transfer in January 2026.
