Michel Platini was the "victim" of a burglary at his home in Bouches-du-Rhône in southern France. According to "RTL", the former French national team legend noticed a hooded man dressed in black outside his window at around 5:30 a.m. Shortly after, he realized that about twenty trophies and medals were missing.
The Marseille prosecutor's office has confirmed the opening of an investigation into a burglary at Platini's residence. The perpetrator has so far disappeared and has not yet been identified. Fortunately, the French football legend was not injured or physically involved in the incident, although the incident deeply affected him.
Among the stolen items could be prizes of incalculable value, including awards related to his extraordinary career: Platini, three-time winner of the "Ballon d'Or" (1983, 1984, 1985), is a symbol of European and world football.
