"Mitrovica is Albania"/ Albanian fans stand in solidarity with Kosovo, the KLA flag invades the 'Elbasan Arena' in the Tirana-Egnatia final (Photos)

A banner with the inscription "Mitrovica is Albania" was waved in the final match of the Albanian Cup Tirana-Egnatia at the "Air Albania" stadium, a match which ended with the result 0-1 in favor of the Rrogozhin team.

Albanian fans have expressed their support for Kosovo. The North is facing a tense situation in the last few days, in three of the four municipalities, Zveçan, Zubin Potok and Leposavic.

Serbian protesters are opposing the entry of Albanian mayors into buildings.

The situation in these municipalities has been tense since May 26, when the sworn mayors entered their work offices with the help of the Kosovo Police. Protesters have used violence against members of KFOR, Kosovo Police and journalists.
