For the start of this competition in which Albania also participates, the president of the ALF Armand Duka has made a post on Facebook. Number 1 of the Albanian Football Federation says, among other things, that the national team will try to leave its mark.
" The day of Euro 2024 has arrived! In the evening, the most important football event in the world starts and we, Albania, are among the contestants. We have come this far with merit, determined from the beginning and now we have to enjoy it.
We represent a nation and I am sure that all the boys will do their best to elevate the name of Albania. Despite the strong opponents we face, the united team on the field will try to make a mark.
Italy is first in line, followed by Croatia and Spain. Our desire is great to progress to the next round and there is no reason why we should not try. The moment has come, let's enjoy it!"
The Albanian national team will play the first match for group B on Saturday at 21:00. It will be the match against Italy at "Signal Iduna Park ", the opening challenge for the red and blacks.
