Participating in the World Cup is considered an important opportunity for the Albanian national team. After appearing at the European Championship, where he stood out with a quick goal against Italy, Nedim Bajrami expresses confidence that the team can reach the final stage of the World Cup.
In an interview with FSHF TV, the midfielder emphasized that the journey to the qualifiers has been positive and now the objective is to be crowned with success through the play-off phase.
"The whole journey we have made has been good and for us it is a great achievement to play a play-off for the World Cup and we will give our maximum to win the match. The time has come to write a great story," said Bajrami.
Meanwhile, one of the latest additions to the team, defender Buraj Pllana, who plays for Lechia Gdańsk in Poland, considers representing Albania special.
"It's a special feeling, because I play there. They wanted to know more about Albania, about the players, about the tactics, but these remain with us," he said, referring to the interest of the Polish media and fans.
Along with Pllanë, coach Sylvinho has also recruited defender Stavro Pilo for the first time, who plays for AEK Athens.
