Adri Mehmeti, one of the most promising talents of the New York Red Bulls in MLS, is attracting the attention of some of the biggest clubs in European football. The Albanian midfielder, only 16 years old, has started to be activated as a starter during this season, in which he also made his debut in the elite of American football.
According to reports from the media outlet " SportsBoom ", two German Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, have shown interest in his services. Interest in the talent of Albanian origin is also reported from major European clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG.
Mehmeti is considered one of the most interesting players of his generation and could be an important reinforcement for the academies of these clubs, where he would have the opportunity to develop further before taking the step towards higher-level football.
At the national level, he first represented Albania U-15, before moving to the United States. Mehmeti also captained the U.S. U-15 team. The move to join the U.S. youth teams was made official at the end of 2023.
Currently, according to Transfermarkt data, his market value is estimated at around 1 million euros. The last update of the value was made in February, while previously the player did not have an official market value. Mehmeti has a contract with New York Red Bulls until 2028.
