The summer transfer window for the 2025/26 season has officially closed in Serie A, making this the right time to count how much clubs from the Italian top flight have spent and earned.
Corriere dello Sport has ranked the 30 most expensive transfers, either in or out of Serie A.
In total, Serie A clubs generated €1.1 billion in sales, surpassing La Liga (€637 million) and Ligue 1 (€974 million). When it came to signings, Italian teams also led the way with €1.17 billion spent, surpassing the Bundesliga (€855 million), La Liga (€684 million) and Ligue 1 (€661 million).
Of the five biggest deals, only one was an incoming transfer to a Serie A giant, Christopher Nkunku to AC Milan. The others were departures from the league.
Interestingly, Milan leads the list with the highest number of signings (four), as well as the most money spent (159 million euros) and the most earned (169.3 million euros) among Serie A clubs.
