Erion Braçe has once again 'shot' the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, regarding the 'Partizani' complex recently built by the red club. Unlike other plants in the country, this is an investment entirely by the club and the president Gaz Demi without the help of the AFL or the Albanian government.
The facility, now named 'Arena e Demave', is not yet fully finished as two training fields, the hotel and the stands behind the gate are expected to be built. The mayor of Tirana, in his campaign for the local elections, promised in the middle of the field that he would build the road to the stadium.
However, the promise was made, the elections were won, but the road is still the same, no more. The road is not simply a 'gift' from the Municipality, but a legal obligation that must be implemented for such a large investment in sports infrastructure in Albania.
Deputy Braçe also reveals that Erion Veliaj still hasn't given the reward for the champion title, another promise he didn't keep. In that field where Partizan's players are reaping success week after week, Erion Veliaj promised a hefty reward of 150 million ALL for winning the championship title.
