The Albanian national Socca team has ended its journey in the European Championship, which is taking place in the "Home of Football", after a 3-0 loss to Serbia in the quarter-final stage.
After the exciting triumph over France in the round of 16, the Rossoneri took to the field supported by the home fans, in an enthusiastic atmosphere and with a high pace of play.
Albania played a hard-fought match and created several scoring chances, but Serbia managed to break the deadlock in the second half. Then, their opponents scored two more goals, sealing their qualification for the semi-finals.
All three goals of the match were scored in the second half of the game, at a time when the Rossoneri were looking to keep the game open and get back into the lead.
Despite the elimination, Albania ends this participation in the European Socca Championship on a positive note, after managing to pass the group stage and secure an important victory over France in the round of 16, before stopping in the quarterfinals.
