The first 45 minutes of the capital derby ended with Tirana's double advantage. Tirana showed their determination from the first minutes, showing themselves to be more clear and demanding against Partizan.
Blendi Shkëmbi's boys broke the deadlock in the 20th minute through Jarmouni, who took advantage of a ball that hit the crossbar from a free kick.
Partizan would then try to apply pressure to equalize the match and at the "reds'" best moment, a burst on Jarmouni's flank would result in a penalty, as the Frenchman's cross would be stopped by hand by the Partizan defender.
The penalty would be taken by Jarmouni who would score his second personal goal and the second for Tirana. The first half ended with a score of 2-0. With this result, Tirana escapes the relegation zone, while Partizan risks losing its place in the “Final Four”.
