Crashes into wall and suffers spinal fractures, Messi's sister suffers serious accident and postpones wedding

Lionel Messi's sister, Maria Sol Messi, has been forced to postpone her wedding planned for January 3rd after suffering a serious accident in Miami.

According to Argentine media reports, the 32-year-old lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wall, suffering fractures to her spine and burns.

However, her life is out of danger and she has already begun rehabilitation in Rosario, the family confirmed.

The wedding to Julian "Tuli" Arellano, a member of the coaching staff for Inter Miami's U-19 team, has been postponed. The ceremony was expected to be attended by the entire Messi family, including the Inter Miami star.

The family has announced that the priority remains Maria Sol's full recovery.
