Lamine Yamal continues to attract public attention, this time not for any performance on the field of play, but through the computer screen. The 18-year-old Barcelona talent has officially opened his YouTube channel, publishing a simple but quite attractive video: a guide inside the apartment where he has lived for the past two years.
The detail that immediately caught attention was not the apartment's furnishings, but the fact that Yamal appears in the video wearing a Colombia national team jersey, wearing Luis Díaz's number 7, a choice that was widely commented on on social media.
In a free and spontaneous atmosphere, Yamal presents the apartment in the midst of the relocation process – with clothes scattered and boxes opened everywhere – showing his home as it is, without filter or fake staging. Among the most curious elements of the video are the hundreds of trophies and awards he has won in his short but sensational career, some of which – as he himself admits – he can no longer remember who gave them to him.
Yamal also discovers an unexpected passion: collecting vanilla-scented candles, scattered throughout the apartment. But his most prized treasure remains a vinyl record signed by hip-hop legend Dr. Dre. “It’s not 50 Cent’s house, but look at the memories I have,” he says proudly.
Although the apartment has a large and elegant terrace on the top floor, the Barcelona footballer admits that he has never used it. "We thought it would be perfect for the summer, but we never put cushions on the sofa. The idea that someone could see us from outside scares me," he confesses frankly.
