16 European national teams will continue the competition in the play-off phase with the aim of securing one of the last four tickets to the 2026 World Cup.

Recently, the specialized website 'Transfermarkt' has published the full ranking of teams, based on the value of players' cards.

Albania is valued at 88 million euros, with two of the most valuable names being Armando Broja and Kristjan Asllani, who represent the most important part of the market value for the red and black national team. With this figure, Albania ranks 12th among the 16 participating teams.

Ahead of the Rossoneri is Kosovo, which reaches a total value of 131 million euros, thanks to players like Edon Zhegrova and Fisnik Asllani, leaving behind teams like Romania, Northern Ireland, Bosnia-Herzegovina and North Macedonia.

At the top of the list is Italy, which is the most expensive team in the play-offs with a whopping 846 million euros. Alessandro Bastoni alone, worth around 80 million euros, costs almost as much as the entire Albanian national team combined.
