The future of Armando Broja continues to be in doubt. According to the well-known Spanish portal "Fichajes", the red and black striker is mentioned as part of the agreement to bring forward Ivan Tonej from Brentford to Chelsea. The portal, known for the voices of the market, makes it clear that the Londoners want the player, but are exhausted at the moment by the high value of his card. Among other things, Tonej is suspended by the English Federation for his involvement in the placing of bets, which are not allowed according to the regulations of the Premier League.
The same source points out that Chelsea want to reduce the value of the card, which is currently around 75 million pounds, including Broja in the deal, to send him to Brentford. The deal will be negotiated and could be finalized in January, as the "London Blues" have seen an urgent need for a striker and Toney is one of the most valued names in the English Championship in recent years.
