A serious incident was recorded at the “Air Albania” stadium during the match between Vllaznia and Egnatia, which ended with the victory of the Rrogozhina team with the score 1-2. Immediately after the second goal scored by Adjesa, the situation got out of control, leading to a massive clash between the players and staff of both teams.
According to images circulating on social media, the tension began after the celebration of Egnatia player Aleksi, who placed his hands over his ears in the direction of fans and opponents, a gesture that was interpreted as provocative.
At that moment, Vllaznia captain Erdenis Gurishta came off the bench and approached Aleks, punching him. After this episode, a general clash broke out on the field between players from both teams, while referees and technical staff intervened to calm the situation.
Footage of the incident has been circulating online and it is expected that the event will bring reactions from the Albanian football disciplinary bodies.
