Four-time Formula 1 world champion Alain Prost experienced moments of terror this week after being the victim of a robbery at his villa in Nyon, near Lake Geneva in Switzerland.
This Tuesday, a group of armed robbers entered his home at around 8:30 am and immediately attacked the famous former Formula 1 driver, hitting him and causing a head injury.
Then, by threatening their son, they convinced him to open the safe they had at home, taking money and valuables from there. It should be remembered that Prost is one of the images of the famous luxury watch brand "Richard Mille" and there were several of them in the apartment.
Swiss tabloid "Blick" reported on Friday evening that the 71-year-old Frenchman suffered head injuries after the perpetrators forced his son to open the safe.
" The perpetrators entered the apartment while the people were inside, threatened them and forced a family member to open a safe before leaving with the stolen items ," the public prosecutor's office stated.
" Despite the extensive search operation that took place, the perpetrators have not yet been arrested ," the prosecution added.
Police, who did not identify the "victim", announced that several masked and hooded individuals forced their way into the apartment.
" Once inside, they threatened the residents and caused minor head injuries to a family member, under circumstances that are still under investigation ," the police statement said.
“ The perpetrators then forced another family member to open a safe before making off with the stolen items, the exact inventory of which is currently being compiled .”/ " The Guardian ", adapted in Albanian, Pamphlet
