Andriy Shevchenko is officially the new president of the Football Federation of Ukraine. The Ukrainian football legend, who has won almost everything as a player, is now his country's top football manager.
Sheva had appeared in the election as the only candidate to get this post, since when it was learned that he was one of the candidates, no one came out to compete against him. Today, the formal voting took place where he received 93 of the 94 votes of the delegates, officially taking office.
Sheva ended his career as a football player in 2012 and from 2016, until 2021, led the Ukrainian national team as a coach. He also tried this task in Genoa in Italy, without much success, while now he starts a new stage, to become a leader at the highest levels.

Milan's reaction on social networks is also immediate. The Reds have congratulated their former player on his new position, while wishing him the best of luck in this journey.
