The Albanian U-15 national team played its first friendly match against Malta U-15 at the “House of Football”. The Red and Blacks were defeated in this challenge with a score of 2-1.
Coach Genti Mahmuti started the match with this starting lineup: Besardo Ndoj (GK), Elez Elqeni (C), Kevin Muharremi, Romeo Hazizaj, Kevin Plepi, Enea Taci, Deni Duka, Gean Ramadani, Satjago Perkola, Samuel Prendi, Noel Lleshi.
The first half of the match produced three goals. Malta took the lead in the 15th minute through Zven Cutajar. Albania equalized through Kevin Muharremi in the 30th minute, while Malta took the lead again in the 33rd minute through Andreas Mangion. The first half ended 2-1 for Malta.
The Reds tried throughout the match, creating chances and using new players, but they were unable to find the equalizer. In the end, the match ended 2-1 for Malta U-15.
Albania U-15 will play the second friendly match against Malta U-15 on September 18, at 11:00, at the "House of Football".
