Albania U-17 has developed the second friendly against Malta U-17, a challenge that was played at the Football House and ended with a 2-1 victory for the Reds and Blacks, who made a good performance, dominating the 90 minutes.
The red and black coach, Ardi Behari, started the game with this formation: Etem Xhemali, Davide Avdullari, Kris Gecaj, Renato Halili, Fabjano Nuhaj, Mattia Huqi, Eraldo Karaj, Oresti Rifa, Brayan Gjyla, Xheto Joi Nuredini, Tedi Malaj.
Malta tries from the first touch of the ball, with a shot from the middle of the field, to surprise the goalkeeper Xhemali, but the ball ends up outside. However, the Reds and Blacks immediately took control of the game and needed only four minutes to unlock the score. Oresti Rifa receives a ball on the right and after dodging several opponents hits correctly in a diagonal position and sends the ball into the net for 1-0.
Just three minutes later another beautiful action for the Albanian national team with Gjyla giving a beautiful infiltrating pass to Rifa, who after controlling the ball in the area shoots with his right and scores, doubling the numbers.
The Reds take advantage of the good moment and get close to the goal again with the protagonist, who in the 13th minute tries in the area with a shot with a curve, which ends up outside, while two minutes later he tries again with another shot in the area with the Maltese goalkeeper that this time denies him the goal.
Even in the following minutes, Albania continues to be in control of the game, creating several more chances to score, where Avdullar can be singled out, who sends the ball out very close to the goal.
In the second half, Malta makes three substitutions, refreshing the forces on the field, but it is Albania again with Kris Gecajn and Eraldo Karajn, who have good chances to score, without finishing properly. Malta manages to get to the sides of the red and black goal and has two quick chances, but it is the goalkeeper Xhemali who reacts well in both chances by avoiding the goal.
However, in the 63rd minute Malta manages to narrow the numbers to 2-1 thanks to the goal scored by Thomas Melillo with a free kick outside the area.
In the 75th minute, Gjyla, one of the best in the field, manages to score a goal, which will be canceled due to the offside position. Then it's Malay who makes good use of a ball in the center of the area, but his shot is only blocked on the fatal line by the Maltese defence. Gici, coming off the bench, has another goal chance, which is not used properly in the final, while for the umpteenth time Gjyla is very close to the third goal for the National Team.
In the last minutes, the result does not change and Albania gets the second victory with Malta, this time 2-1, after the second success a few days ago, where they triumphed with the result 2-0.
