The Albanian national team is ready to start preparations for the next two qualifiers for the European Championship "Germany 2024" with the coach Silvio Mendes Kampos Junior who announced today the list of 25 players invited for these challenges.
Compared to the June matches, this time there will be changes in the list, as there are new names, but also important returns in the red and black group. The two main innovations are the names of attackers Arbnor Muja and Mirlind Daku, who are invited for the first time with the red and blacks.
In the midfield there are meanwhile two important returns with Klaus Gjasula and Odise Roshi who have been invited for the two September challenges, while in defense there is another name that comes after an absence, that of Arlind Ajeti. Midfielder Armir Abrashi will be absent this time, as for the rest of the list, there are no changes and the group of players that was involved in the matches with Moldova and the Faroe Islands in June is confirmed.
The national team will officially start preparations on Monday, September 4, with the red and black team gathering in Tirana and training will take place at the Football House. So, on the eve of the gathering, coach Silvinjo will appear at the media conference on Saturday to talk about his choices and objectives for two of the most important challenges in these qualifiers.
Albania will play in a transfer against the Czech Republic on September 7 and three days later, on September 10, it will host Poland at the "Air Albania" stadium.
