Italian police have discovered a veritable center of drug trafficking in Serie A. More specifically, a stadium, which was used to trade cocaine by a group of ultras of the local team.
It is about the "Bentegodi" stadium in Verona, which has apparently turned into a haven for drug trafficking when elite Italian football matches are played there. Everything has been revealed after an action by the Verona police today, which revealed the details of what was happening in the stadium during the matches of the respective club in Serie A, as well as in a bar opposite that was frequented by ultras.
The police have arrested and sent 2 people to jail, 2 others are under house arrest and 7 have to appear. The investigations began after the police had previously arrested a distributor at the stadium, who, together with his girlfriend, was selling cocaine to some ultras of Verona. The police have learned that a "sales point" was designated inside the stadium by the ultras themselves, who were supplied there with narcotic substances such as cocaine or marijuana.
A situation that has undoubtedly confused the organized groups of ultras of the team, which has started quite well this season in Serie A, being co-leaders with full points after two games, alongside Milan, Inter and Napoli.
