Komar had reported some time ago that he was brutally beaten by some hooligans at a local party. According to initial reports, Komar had a terrible performance in the promotion play-offs last year, denying the club the dream of a comeback and because of this, some hooligans were said to have chased him to the festival and attacked him, causing serious damage.
However, the facts have changed, as the local police from the first moment were not convinced that this was an act by the fans.
Yesterday, early in the morning, the Polish police issued a statement showing the real details of what had happened.
Komar was brutally beaten by his ex-partner, who recognized him in the festival crowd and started a fight. Komar ended up in the hospital with a broken arm and jaw. The goalkeeper simply made up the story of violence from the fans ," the police wrote.
