Tirana have won the derby of the fourth stage of this season's Superiore with a clean 3-0 score that leaves little room for discussion. The white and blue team thus return to derby successes and do so with a goal difference that is unusual in matches of this type in recent years.
In fact, it turns out that this is only the second time in the last 15 years that a derby match has ended with a 3 or more goal difference in favor of one team. The only previous time in 15 years that a team has won by such a large margin belongs to the famous derby won by the white and blues with the score 5-1, in February 2020.
To find a match where Partizan scored three goals in a championship derby, you have to go back to March 2008, when the Reds won 4-1 against the Blue and Whites. Abilaliaj, the current Reds' sports director, and Shkëmbi, the current Tirana coach, were two of the scorers for Partizan in that match.
