After it was recently revealed that football agent, model and presenter Uanda Nara was admitted to a hospital in Buenos Aires for something 'serious', it is now being said that Mauro Icardi's wife has been diagnosed with leukemia.
Horge Lanata in his show on "Radio Mitre" claimed that some sources close to Uanda Nara have confirmed that she suffers from a serious illness. On Wednesday evening, the Argentinian model was taken to a medical center after feeling severe stomach pains.
After that, the doctors decided that the best thing to do was to run all the necessary tests. Then, on Friday, local media reported that Uanda Nara had been transferred to Sanatorio de Los Arcos, in Buenos Aires.
She was thoroughly examined by the medical staff to diagnose the disease, the cause of her abdominal discomfort. Lanata also claims that, since hearing the terrible news about Nara's supposed leukemia diagnosis, her partner Mauro Icardi wants to send her to Italy for treatment.
The Argentinian striker has played most of his football in Italy and it is where he and Nara spent most of their relationship, a place where they feel most at home. The striker is currently on the verge of a permanent move to Gallatasaraji in Turkey, but seems to want to take his partner to Italy, as it is a more familiar environment.
Also according to Lanata, Wanda had just finished filming an episode of "MasterChef" and was going to travel to Ibiza to meet her sister Zaira and mother Nora Kolosimo, but the shocking diagnosis has changed their plans.
