With only nine days left until the long-awaited Poland-Albania match, valid for the World Cup "Play-Off" phase, the Albanian Football Federation has brought back to attention one of the most important victories of recent years.
Through a publication on the social network "Instagram", the Albanian Football Association has shared the two goals scored against Poland on September 10, 2023, at the "Air Albania" stadium, as part of the "EURO 2024" qualifiers. The video is divided into two parts: the top shows Jasir Asani's super goal, while the bottom shows Mirlind Daku's final shot.
Asani stands out with his characteristic left-footed shot, while Daku scores after a good control of the ball in the area, turning quickly and finishing accurately into the opposing goal. The match at that time ended with a score of 2-0 in favor of the Rossoneri.
Jasir Asani himself shared the post on his "story", recalling the success against the Poles, on the eve of another important match between the two teams.
Meanwhile, as for the National Team, the list of players assembled for this challenge is expected to be published on March 21, also clarifying the dilemmas over the names that will be part of the team.
