Arman Durmishi continues to play for Juventus' U-20 team, despite being only 17 years old. The striker, who left Slovenia to play for Albania, was included in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia for this age group against Inter.
The coach initially left him on the bench. Juventus controlled the game from the first minutes and took the lead in the first half. Durmishi entered the game in the second half, at a moment when Inter sought to increase the pace. Alain Taho was the starter in the black and blue goal.
In the 81st minute, Durmishi took advantage of the first concrete opportunity and scored for 2-0. The goal practically ended the match. Juventus also scored the third goal and secured the 3-0 victory, a result that takes them to the semifinals of the Italian U-20 Cup.
With this goal, Durmishi scores his seventh goal in 15 games this season with Juventus U-20. Statistics confirm that he is regularly playing in an age group older than his biological age.
The performance in a direct match against Inter puts his name on the list of players who are taking on a concrete role in Juventus' youth structure this season.
