This time the 'victim' was not an opposing player, but his teammate.

While Messi shone with two goals, Suarez left a stain on this victory with an unacceptable gesture: he bit Jordi Alba, his Inter Miami teammate and close friend of Messi.

During his previous career, Suarez has been banned three times for biting. In 2010, as a player for Ajax, he bit PSV midfielder Otman Bakkal, receiving a 7-match ban. In 2013, as a player for Liverpool, he bit Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic, receiving a 10-match ban.
In 2014, during the World Cup, he bit Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini. For the incident, he was given a 9-match suspension and banned from all football activity for four months.
