A 23-year-old man appeared in court in England, after being accused of robbing the apartment of "Chelsea" striker Rahim Sterling.
The citizen Emiliano Krosi has been arrested, who is suspected of taking valuable items from the apartment, approximately 300 thousand pounds.
Foreign media reported that the footballer, Sterling, left the apartment just a few hours before England's decisive match with Senegal in Qatar last year.
The attacker was interviewed by the detectives investigating the theft, and the investigation revealed that the author of the robbery was the young Albanian.
Krosi spoke in court only to confirm his name through an Albanian language translator. He was represented by defense barrister Graham Blower.
The case was adjourned and a ten-day trial before Judge Rufus Taylor was scheduled for February next year.
