FIFA fined the Albanian Football Federation after the discriminatory behavior of Albanian fans during the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Andorra, held at the "Arena Kombëtare" stadium on March 24, 2025.
The FIFA Disciplinary Committee considered the fans' behavior unacceptable and imposed a fine of 20,000 Swiss francs on the Albanian Football Association (AFH) as well as the closure of at least 20% of the stadium in Albania's next match in FIFA competitions, with priority given to the stands behind the goals.
"Panorama Sport", with its sources in FIFA, has discovered the document that shows in detail the disciplinary proceedings that the delegate made, in the match with Andorra. It is proven that the discriminatory calls originated from sector N103, (block where the groups Tifozat Kuq e Zi and Iliryan Elite were located). In the notes that the delegate kept in the file, the sector, minutes and calls recorded with video in Albanian, which were translated into English, how long they lasted and how many times they were repeated, are clearly shown.
There were chants from Albanian fans: "Kill, kill the Serbs" and also: "Kill, destroy, massacre Serbia". Songs that were sung in the third minute of the match and violated the FIFA Disciplinary Code, regarding incitement to ethnic hatred and discrimination.
