Red and black star lands in Istanbul for medical check-ups, Besiktas publishes photos of Kristjan Asllani

Red and black national team star Kristjan Asllani has arrived in Istanbul to join his new club.

The news was announced by the Turkish club, Besiktas, which posted a photo of Asllani on its official social media profile, stating that he will now undergo medical examinations.

Besiktas will cover Asllan's salary until June and there will be no mandatory buyout clause.

So for the first time, Asllani will play outside of Italy. Besiktas is probably the only club outside of Italy that found a positive response from Asllani after his interest.
