Europa League/ Lyon, Roma and Aston Villa secure the ticket among the top 8,

The 8th and final round of the Europa League group stage is over. Lyon secured their place in the last 8 after defeating PAOK 4-2. Giorgos Iakoumakis gave the Greeks the lead in the 22nd minute, while the French equalized in the 34th minute.

At the end of the first half, more specifically in the 41st minute, the visitors were left with 10 players, after Konstantelias was punished with a red card.

At the start of the second half, in the 55th minute, Merah gave Lyon the lead, while Meite equalized for the Greeks in the 67th minute.

Lyon had a golden chance to take the lead in the 83rd minute, but Karabec was inaccurate from the penalty spot.

When it was thought that both teams would shake hands, Lyon found the winning goal in the 87th minute. Karabec atoned for the mistake made 4 minutes earlier.

In the 90+3 minute, Alejandro Gomes Rodríguez completed the "poker" for Lyon.

Bologna defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv 0-3 away, securing the play-off spot. Roue in the 35th minute, Orsolini in the 47th minute and Pobega in the 90th+4th minute were the goalscorers for the Italians.

Porto triumphed 3-1 over Glasgow Rangers. The Scots took the lead through Gasama in the 6th minute.

The "Dragons" then turned the tables with a goal from Ridrigo Mora in the 27th minute, Francisco Moura in the 36th minute and an own goal from Emanuel Fernandez in the 41st minute.
