Myrto Uzuni could become one of the surprises of the winter transfer window in Turkey. Trabzonspor are in negotiations with Austin for the transfer of the Albanian striker, who has reportedly given his approval for such a move.
According to the latest information, the offer being discussed between the parties does not only include the basic amount of 6.5 million euros. The agreement also provides for another 1.5 million euros in the form of bonuses, linked to sporting achievements or certain objectives of the player and the club.
Also, the American club in Austin would retain 15% of Uzun's card, to benefit from a possible future transfer, in case Trabzonspor decides to sell the striker to another team.
The winter transfer market in Turkey closes today at 23:59, which gives the negotiations an urgent and decisive character in the final hours.
If the transfer goes through, Uzun would reunite with Ernest Muçi, who is currently at Trabzonspor. Muçi's card is owned by Besiktas and the club is expected to finally buy him in the summer transfer window.
The developments are expected to be clarified by the evening, while it remains to be seen whether the parties will reach a final agreement within the official transfer window deadline.
