Real's deception revealed when players are injured, "sell" quick recoveries as successes of footballers and medical team

Real Madrid is following a new strategy in public communication about player injuries.

The last case is Kilian Mbape. In the official announcements for the media, the Madrid club has decided to "deceive" the journalists by making the injuries more alarming, thus writing a longer recovery time than it really is.

These recovery periods are deliberately longer than the time Real's doctors believe the players need. This is done for several reasons. 

First, it distracts opponents.

Second, it gives staff time to, in the event that things go wrong, be okay with their advance notices.

Third, it motivates players to appear as players who do not have recovery problems and return to the field quickly.

Real Madrid has a high level medical department. With this strategy, the club "sells" the quick recoveries of the players as successes of the players, but also of the medical team.
