10 months from the start of the vetting process, the Police Oversight Agency seems to be moving at a fast pace.
After the approval of the commissions led by AMP, 33 leaders passed through the latter's filter. For 32 of them, the assessment trio gave positive answers, confirming them in office.
The only one so far who has been excluded due to Vetting is Theodhori Gravani after he was declared fit to exercise his duties.
While the former director of Lezha, Vehbi Bushati, has voluntarily chosen to leave, in order not to submit to the process.
Meanwhile, the vetting process has been stopped for 12 former leaders as they are not subject to this process.
In the following weeks, AMP will announce the decision for 3 other leaders for which they have given an explanation before the evaluation committee.
The first to undergo this process was the director of Shkodra, Edmond Sulaj, who, after being verified in three criteria, was found to be clean.
