Albanian-Australian swimmer and lawyer Eva Buzo has returned to the Albanian coast for another extraordinary challenge in the waters of the Ionian Sea.
This time, she set off from Radhima towards the island of Sazan, where she completed a long swim around the largest island in Albania. The challenge included traversing the coastline of Sazan, a route of approximately 15 kilometers in open water.
In the first phase of the journey, Buzo was accompanied by a support and security team, while she then continued swimming alone along the coast of the island, braving the sea conditions and the high physical demands of this adventure.
The challenge required extraordinary endurance, long preparation and maximum concentration, once again confirming her skills in long-distance swimming disciplines.
This is not the first time that Eva Buzo has chosen Albania to achieve important sporting goals. Two years ago, she made international headlines when she swam from the Italian coast to Karaburun, an achievement that was considered an important sporting success and a special promotion of the Albanian Riviera.
With the latest challenge around Sazan, Buzo continues to promote the sport of endurance, while at the same time bringing attention to the natural beauties and tourist potential of the Albanian coast.
