Analyst Frrok Çupi says that Lulzim Basha is part of the crime, related to the 4 murders of January 21, 2011.
In an interview for "Ora e Fundit", Çupi stated that Sali Berisha is the main culprit for this murder. He further said that Berisha is afraid of Basha regarding this matter, implying that he may speak about the information he knows.
"I believe that the main door of justice has been opened. The Albanian people, their hope, are taking the right direction. Lulzim Basha is part of this very big crime. 4 protesters are killed by the government, over 130 others are injured to the point of death. Justice is violated, evidence is destroyed and the murderers are promoted to official positions. Sali Berisha's action today proves that he is the main culprit. Berisha found out, because SPAK information is leaking. He found out the day before yesterday that the case will be opened. I am sure that Basha and Berisha are both afraid of each other, but they are also not. Berisha is more afraid of Basha, both are collaborators in crime. Berisha testified to me in 2017 that he is afraid of Basha," Çupi emphasized.
