Journalist Artan Hoxha has commented on the decision of the Supreme Court, which decided that "January 21" should be investigated by SPAK. Hoxha was the one who provided the audio of the communications between the guards and in "Top Talk" he said that "January 21" was a pure state crime and should be investigated as such. According to him, the prosecutor's office of Tirana could not investigate it alone. According to the journalist, this prosecutor had neither the possible resources, nor the human resources, nor the logistical ones, nor the will to do it.
"In order to investigate the entire chain of command at that time, this is done only by SPAK, and we insisted that only SPAK should do this. I took that recording to Aleks Nika's father first so that he could listen to it. he was convinced how his son's murder happened. From there we made a strategy on how we will request that this case go to SPAK. I don't have the legal tax. We don't open the case, they said that we don't have new evidence.
Why should you have new evidence, you have two people killed without a perpetrator. You didn't investigate the incident. Alex Nika and Hekuran Deda have no authors. Today there are only Ziver Veizi and Faik Myrto authors. Ziver Veizi is also scientifically proven with the projectile found in his body that was fired by the Chief of Staff of the Special Unit, Agim Lluko. Faik Myrta was killed by the pistol that was used by the Commander of the Guard, Ndrea Prendi. So it was not an ordinary person who was killed there, but the highest leaders of the Guard. What element did the tape carry? For me as a journalist, it is an extremely large piece of evidence that proves that the murders were done by the state. We did not make that tape available to Strasbourg... The prosecution, SPAK, must take it because the life of the one who made the recording is at risk. That recorded the commander because they spoke on a secret channel, it was a narrow circle of people who used it ," said Hoxha.
