Analyst Fatos Lubonja has spoken about the decision of the Supreme Court on the "January 21" scandal, saying that there is no independent justice, but these are decisions made by the SP.
Lubonja emphasized that for the murders of January 21, both political parties are involved.
"Regarding the decision for January 21, I would say that these are SP decisions, there is no independent justice. The event is important, but justice has never been done, but it is political instrumentalization. This is because if true justice were to be done, both parties are responsible for the murders. I see both sides as responsible, both sides should be investigated", said Lubonja.
The analyst commented on the agreement between the majority and the opposition, for the latter to enter the Assembly and to set up two Investigative Commissions. According to him, Rama gains more from the agreement than the opposition.
"I think the majority have a lot of stones, which they move here and there. Agreements are also strategies, which are mostly made for the interests of the majority. With this agreement, it seems as if the majority is recognizing the Reestablishment. Even the internationals have asked for normality in the parliament. Edi Rama has given two cases for investigation, why didn't he give all the cases for investigation. Give for investigation what Rama wants. The new law on Investigative Commissions had to be withdrawn.
What was achieved can turn the opposition into a facade in the parliament. The opposition needs more support from the people. Also, the opposition should reflect on the widest possible union, but it seems that they do not have the power for this work. With this situation, Rama gets more victories than the opposition.
For Rama, international legitimation is important. It is necessary for all opposition parties, regardless of differences, to unite and think about the restoration of democracy. We must think about resistance, then about victory, which probably comes because of the fact that the majority can be destroyed internally", stated Lubonja in an interview for News 24.
