The Albanian police have rejected the claims of the MEK spokesperson, who said today that one person was killed inside the camp in Manza in Durrës and 36 others were injured. The police tell the media that their claims are not true.
Since 3 o'clock this morning, there have been multiple police checks at the mujahedin center in Manza, Durrës.
Neutralizing substances have been thrown inside the camp, while the residents say they do not know why this control is being carried out.
According to the information, the situation has worsened since the residents of the camp have resisted to hand over the servers and computers.
One of the residents told the media that the Albanian police came without any warning and used tear gas. As for the data that the police had information about a dangerous person inside the camp, the resident denied it.
" We mujahedin are not criminals, we are not terrorists. We are the opposition of the country. In the last demonstration the dictator has killed more than 800 Iranians. The police in hundreds of cars drove in without any notice. Why are you attacking our camp? What action have we taken? We are mujahedin, we are refugees. They used tear gas. Our brothers were sick. Some are injured, one mujahedin was killed" , said the resident.
Sources indicate that 70 arrest warrants have been issued for Iranians who have taken refuge in the MEK camp in Manza, Durrës. Through a press release, the state police informed that the controls are carried out within an operational plan in implementation of the control orders issued by the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime.
