According to " TV Klan ", on November 1, 6 million passengers were registered at Rinas airport, while the rest over 730 thousand passengers were processed until the first week of this month.
The latest statistics from the International Council of Airports in Europe "ACI" also show the great flow of passengers that have been registered this year at Rinas International Airport.
This international authority underlines that Rinas Airport leads with a notable increase of 134% in passenger traffic in October 2023 compared to 2019.
As noted, this international institution ranks "Mother Teresa" Airport among the 5 airports that reported the highest increase in passenger traffic compared to October 2019, the period before the pandemic when there were no flight restrictions.
Among other things, the report states that the best performances came from airports in developing aviation markets and from the stimulation of low-cost air transport operators, of which Albania is already a part.
According to the International Council of Airports in Europe, this continuous momentum of air traffic has highlighted the airports that are becoming more and more powerful in terms of passenger flow, such as Rinas International Airport.
After the summer tourist boom, Albania continues to have many visitors in the autumn and winter period, as in the latest official figures until the end of November, our country has registered 9.53 million tourists.
