SPAK must look at the big issues, they constitute a priority, so that public opinion is clarified, said former prosecutor Ervin Karanxha on the show "Të Pashoj".
Karanxha said that one of the sensitive files is the one known as McGonigal, where the investigation and trial have been completed in the US, while in Albania the file is in a drawer.
Karanxha was asked whether or not we have returned to a Republic of Prosecutors, and stated that in 2016, the reform was approved with 140 votes.
"SPAK was elected by these people themselves, they gave him the powers he is exercising, so today they cannot complain. We cannot say that we are a Republic of prosecutors, because in the end they gave him every power with 140 votes, so even today SPAK is dancing", said Karanxha.
He also praised the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, whom he said they worked together at the Tirana Prosecutor's Office. "He is a fair, persistent prosecutor, he follows through on investigations," Dumani said.
