Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, head of the Democratic Party, has accused Socialist MP Pandeli Majko of electoral crimes, stating that he fell into an environmental wiretapping with other people.
Today, Pandeli Majko went to the office of the Speaker of the Assembly, asking her to address SHISH with a request, while he expressed his willingness to be investigated regarding this matter.
But the former Prosecutor of Serious Crimes, Eugen Beçi, in the Now show on Euronews Albania, speaking about the case, said that based on the law, the deputy can make a request, in this case to SHISH, and receive an answer within two weeks.
"Majko can make a request to SHISH and receive the answer within two weeks. SHISH can say that there were other people in the interception, which it does not inform, it can say that it happened, or no it did not happen. On the other hand, Berisha can come out and say that the documents have been destroyed, as he has stated on other issues ", said Beçi.
