Lawyer Edmond Petraj has stated that former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is not in danger of being imprisoned, for the speeches he is making from the window of his apartment in front of his supporters.
Petraj made the comments in a link to Euronews Albania, where he said that Berisha with his speeches in the window looks like he is talking to himself, like a person with mental disabilities.
He added that SPAK can only intervene when Berisha has direct contact with a person who does not live in his apartment.
" We are not discussing age, because the Prosecutor's Office, if it deems it reasonable, replaces the measure. This does not hinder the investigative bodies, because if we are going to be in this situation, that is, from the exits from the window, etc... The way I see it, Berisha is not talking or communicating with anyone from the window.
We have a Berisha that implements the Court's decision and we are not in violation of the Court's decision. At the moment the flagrante delicto is observed, SPAK has the right to intervene. Balla knows very well how evidence is created and how a court decision is respected.
He knows this very well, who can stop Berisha from going out and talking at the window. He looks like he's talking to himself, like he's a mentally handicapped person ," Petraj said.
