Journalist Aida Topalli has revealed details about RENEA's latest operation against the Bajri and Prendi tribes in Shkodra. She spoke about the armed clash in Bushat last year, after the disruption of drug deals.
According to Topalli, the police are continuing their search to arrest Prendi. She added that yesterday, searches were conducted in the homes of the Bajri tribe, members of the group, and the homes of the Lici tribe.
She emphasizes that the cause of the conflict was the failure to deliver a drug shipment to its destination by the Prendi tribe and the demand for an account from the other side of Bajri, as the return of money suspected of being lost or stolen was also claimed.
"The police operation in Shkodra for the Dobraç massacre continues. RENEA is at Aleksandër Prendi's apartment for investigations and checks, related to an assassination in the "Guri i Zi" area, where we had a clash between the Prendi tribe and members of the Bajri tribe. So far, it has not been possible to arrest Prendi, but the search continues. Yesterday, it also landed in Kiras and Dobraç, or in "Guri i Zi", where searches were carried out in the homes of the Bajri tribe, members of the group, as well as the homes of the Lici tribe.
