Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço has "deconstructed" the statements of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who warned SPAK prosecutors not to dare think of taking his phone.
Karamuço said that he is not aware of any investigation against Rama, while raising the fact that SPAK is confiscating cell phones en masse as a problem.
" I have no information that the prime minister is being investigated, but it was part of the political frustration due to an activity that SPAK is doing with the seizure of mobile phones. There are hundreds of mobile phones seized. Lawyers say that there is an illegal practice. The Constitutional Court should resolve this as to under what circumstances it is seized. In this context, the Prime Minister also spoke about what these actions are. Let's clarify them because it seems excessive. Even the measure of detention seems excessive, but the figures speak differently. Not all those investigated by SPAK are in detention. It is only 37 percent ," he said on "Euronews Albania".
