The hearing at the Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime against democrat Asllan Dogjani has been postponed to another day.
The reason for postponing the session was at the request of the MP, as the latter is engaged in the vote recount process for the May 11 parliamentary elections.
The GJKKO had previously returned the file to the Special Prosecution Office for its own investigation. In today's session, the SPAK was to present to the court its findings on the tasks left by the black squads.
We recall that in December last year, the Special Prosecution Office took Democratic MP Asllan Dogjani into custody, accusing him of concealing the payment of over 120 thousand euros for the purchase of an apartment.
SPAK explained at the time that Dogjani, through two duplicate contracts, hid through false declarations the manner of obtaining the apartment in Tirana, on "Hamid Shijaku" street. Both declarations bore the same protocol number, but different conditions for obtaining the property.
"On March 24, 2010, he presented the contract dated December 6, 2006, on which the defendant relied again in the declaration dated June 16, 2023, after his election as a deputy in the Assembly of the Republic of Albania. Contrary to the declarations made, the investigations of this criminal proceeding showed that the defendant Asllan Dogjani became the owner of the aforementioned apartment, based on the contract with no. 7030 rep and 781 kol, dated September 6, 2006, which stipulated that the value of the apartment would be 121,980 euros, an amount that the defendant liquidated to the company, through cash payments," the Special Prosecution Office said in a statement.
