Following the US involvement in the war by bombing Iran, the State Department has urged American citizens everywhere to exercise caution.
In the message also distributed by the US embassy in Tirana, it is stated that Americans who are abroad may face protests or other actions and should exercise caution.
“ Worldwide Alert: The conflict between Israel and Iran has caused travel disruptions and periodic airspace closures throughout the Middle East. There is a possibility of protests against United States citizens and interests abroad. The Department of State advises U.S. citizens worldwide to exercise increased caution. Please carefully review the Travel Advisory, country information, and any recent security alerts before planning a trip at: travel.state.gov/destination ,” the embassy said.
