During the meeting, she emphasized the importance of the independence and preservation of the integrity of the Constitutional Court, which should start from increasing the budget to meet the most important needs of the court and increasing the number of legal advisers, a necessity that comes from the high number of cases. and improving the quality of decisions.

Then, Mrs. Zaçaj presented the challenges for the creation of a new electronic case management system and the efforts made for an expected and successful cooperation with the Swedish Embassy for this objective. Also, she presented the initiative for the redesign of the official website of the Constitutional Court and other transparency programs through financial cooperation with the Swiss Embassy.

For his part, Ambassador King-Smith expressed his willingness to help the Constitutional Court and the justice system in Albania, focusing especially on efforts to involve the Constitutional Court in concrete cooperation projects, with the aim of deepening the exchange of experiences in various fields. expertise in order to increase capacities and improve decision-making activity.
