Lawyer Romeo Kara, invited to the "Last Hour" on ABC News, said that this statement by Sali Berisha is a mockery and an unparalleled hypocrisy.
He emphasizes that Sali Berisha can be described as a "system", which has its roots everywhere, even in the justice system. Meanwhile, regarding "Berishism", lawyer Kara said that it is a gang, which according to him owns billions of assets.
"Berisha's statement is mockery and hypocrisy, which exceeds any limit. I think that Berisha is a system, Berishism, is a real gang that owns billions. It is a system that has taken root even as a mentality, because some of them have seen the good in it, businessmen and criminals, who have worked with it and may work tomorrow. The justice system has been infected by this person," he said.
Commenting on SPAK's appeal, which demands Sali Berisha's return to solitary confinement, Kara asserted that the former prime minister should be sent to prison in order not to influence the process.
Furthermore, the lawyer stated that Berisha's family members themselves have stated that the decision of GJKKO to release him from house arrest was politically influenced.
"This decision was made under political influence and Berisha himself admits this. He must be taken now, he must be arrested and sent to prison, so that he does not affect the process. They have received the political license to steal", he said.
