The Court of Special Appeals will announce the decision on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. for the removal or not of the sequestration for two villas owned by Monika Kryemadhi and her mother, Fatima Kryemadhi.
In her speech to the journalists, Kryemadhi said that the prosecution had not received experts. She added that she was sure that this case would go to Strasbourg.
"I raised a question, SPAK prosecutors have taken loans, rent them out and take from 3 houses, is it illegal? My mother bought it on credit and lives there. The prosecution did not hire financial experts, they stayed within the framework of journalistic rumours," she said.
The mayor joked that after seizing the villas, he will live in a tent or in a container. But the MP of PL seems to be openly mocking the Albanians, since together with her husband, former president Ilir Meta, they don't know where they hid the money. SPAK is investigating the PL couple on three charges: money laundering, corruption and non-declaration of assets related to the CEZ DIA file and lobbying in the US.
"5 minutes before I went to court, 10 policemen landed in the yard of my house. It was an interesting scenario, perhaps to create psychological pressure, it could also be a coincidence. I told them that I was in court, and they came the next day, the minutes were set , was signed, representatives of the sequestration agency came. Is the property legal? But we think they should leave the house. How much is in the tent tent from the earthquake. We will get a container, some tent for rent. Someone will give us a land where we will put the container", Kryemadhi joked.
The MP of the Freedom Party appeared this Monday at the premises of the Special Court to appeal the decision for the two villas, located in the Kodra e Diellit residence in Tirana.
The leader was seen walking with a cane, while also carrying some documents. Asked by journalists why he was walking with a cane, Kryemadhi said: "Yes, life is like that."
